Because my laptop is very old, meaning that when I bought it about 6 years ago, Windows 7 was in beta version (it had just been released) it uses Windows Vista and doesn’t support Windows 7 so I couldn’t upgrade and I couldn’t bring my laptop with me to install Allplan 2014. The instructor worked with us on Allplan 2014 which needs at least Windows 7 or Windows 8 to work properly.
Nemetschek Allplan is quite picky when it comes to system requierments, because it works both in 2D and 3D. 😀 In the picture below I have a flyer that the instructor has given to me and which describes all the beautiful things that Allplan can do in engineering and architecture. And because I have finally laid my hands on this software, I have decided to write my personal opinion about it. I have signed in to courses that teach the basics in using Nemetschek Allplan, the CAD used both by civil engineers and by architects.
